CSA International tests and certifies lighting fixtures for illumination purposes that are designed specifically for hazardous locations to prevent the ignition of gases, vapours, dusts or flyings in the surrounding atmosphere or on the luminaire. Any of the various types of light sources are included along with devices such as fixture hangers or other supports.
